CDDesigner V1.4.1 Building and recording CD-Rs with NEXTSTEP(3.3)/OPENSTEP(4.x) DESCRIPTION ----------- CDDesigner by Ziegeler & Gehle Infosystems is a comfortable application to build, record and copy CD-ROMs, CD-DAs and Mixed-Mode-CDs. Raw images conform to the ISO9660 specification and the Rockridge extension. Log in as root, use the Installer.app to install the CDDesigner.pkg and configure your system as described in the documentation. It is recommended to read the documentation before recording CD-Rs. UPGRADING --------- If you have already installed an older version of CDDesigner, DON'T DELETE IT. Open the CDDesigner.pkg and choose the same installation path as before. Installing to the same path will detect the older version and upgrade to V1.4 automatically. To replace the old drivers you need to start CDDesigner.app as root, then choose "Configure" from the "Info" menu. Remove any configured devices and create new ones for them. The demo licence signs all files and directories with the prefix "DEMO" and supports only the test mode for writing. Use the licence panel to get a valid licence key. If you will use CDDesigner for your private interests only, you should order a PRIVATE licence, otherwise you will need to order a commercial one. The private licence does only work on stand alone systems. Once received a licence key, you agree not to sell, transfer or sublicence the software, or any copy or portion thereof, to any other person.
